I give Dr Ashby 5 Stars. Actually I would give him 10 stars. He is the best Gastrologist. My husband and I have been going to him for some years. He is very thorough and takes all the time you need. I had given him a 5 star review before but when I checked back it only reflected 4 stars...,,that’s why I’m posting again.

My father's primary care physician recommended my father see a gastroenterologist. After much research, I came across Dr. Ashby. All his reviews stated what a caring, thorough, and knowledgeable Dr. he was, and the reviews are 100% true. In this day and age were a Dr. comes in with an Ipad/tablet in hand and barely makes eye contact. Yet alone having them call you after your visit to see how everything is going is literally nonexistent. Where do I begin? There is not enough space to tell you how happy I have been with Dr. Ashby and Lindsey. They are the best of the best, all around. Dr. Ashby is not only knowledgeable, but he is just a great human being, very kind, compassionate, and personable. He always explains everything thoroughly, and completely. I would recommend any and all friends, and family members to seek out Dr. Ashby if they needed a recommendation for a fantastic Gastroenterologist.
I have not been to a doctor in years - or ever that I can remember - that made me feel like a person rather than an insurance number. He actually took time to explain facts re: my issues, asked if I had questions and then patiently answered them in a very professional yet personal way. As important, after two procedures with him, I am fully confident in his knowledge and experience and that I'll be well take care of. He is the best!
Dr. Ashby is very conscientious. He followed up with me via phone and text several times [even after hours] relative to changes in my condition. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Ashby referred me to a specialist for my specific issue who was also quite knowledgeable. He had contact with that specialist to discuss my case, even on July 4th. I highly recommend Dr. Ashby for his knowledge and his caring.
I recently had a colonoscopy my 2nd in 10 years and the entire process especially the actually test was a 1st class medical experience by everyone involved. Excellent doctor.
Dr. Ashby made me feel comfortable, was knowledgeable and explained everything he thought and his recommendations. Very professional and personable.
