When I checked in with reception, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The young lady who checked me in was amazing, friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. I was then called back to exam room , the MA was exceptional. Great personality, again very personable, extremely knowledgeable she did an amazing job explaining everything. Great office, sometimes offers Saturday hours. Doctor is efficient and very nice. Office staff helpful and accommodating. Sleep study staff professional.
I'm a new patient at this facility, been trying to get a sleep study done for years now, couldn't really get it done at Miami Valley due to the staff not listening to me when I told them numerous times I had to be in an induced sleep in order for them to get the sleep data that they wanted. I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT sleep in strange and/or unfamiliar places, not matter how accommodating they were at Miami Valley I just couldn't sleep there. While I appreciate the expertise of the sleep apnea specialist, the in-person visits often feel unnecessary, especially given the limited scope of the discussions. Many of these appointments could have been effectively handled through a phone call or virtual consultation, which would be more efficient and cost-effective for both the patient and provider.
I saw the doctor today. She walked into the office already determined what she was going to do. Even though I was already sleeping well again I went to the appointment even though I didn't want to. I think because I wasn't going to need a CPAP machine or any of that crap or do a sleep study that she had already determined she wasn't going to help me. She brought up Ambien. I told her I wasn't on Ambien anymore I quit taking it I don't know 7 weeks ago maybe longer. I restarted my Seroquel after not taking it for 4 or 5 month... read more
