Beware. I was in contact with Dr. Lateef over a month ago and made it clear I wanted to wait on a nerve block before trying ketamine. He was very open and agreed it was good to wait and see. Now that I talked to them again, and filled out all the paperwork for them, they have told me they don’t have room for another chronic pain patient. They must not understand the energy it takes to spend a half hour filling out paperwork. Not many things are literally life saving, but ketamine was for me. I tried ketamine as a treatment of last resort in 2015 when ketamine treatment for depression was still relatively new. I went from suicidally depressed to hopeful after just two infusions, and my depression was in remission by the end of the index of six treatments. I highly recommend KWC. They take patients seriously. They are also some of the nicest people in the world. You immediately feel safe. It was a wonderful experience and definitely helped with what I was going through.
