I don’t write reviews often, and I know most people only have something to say when they have a bad experience. But this was the best vet experience I have ever had. It was clean and cozy from the first step in the door. The vibes were warm and bright as opposed to that dark icky feeling I usually get walking in to a vet office. One thousand gold stars for Kestrel Veterinary Hospital! My review is long, but I know the process is important when you’re looking for the right care for your beloved pets. I was referred to Dr. Hough at Kestrel when I brought my kitty to his regular vet with some urgent dental concerns. They were booked out, and wrote me a list with a big star next to Dr. Hough. Dr. Hough and her team truly care so much about their patients!! We were out of town and our dog sitter noted that Pickles had blood in his stool. The dog sitter called Dr. Hough’s office and even though they had a full schedule they were able to squeeze him in for observation. We knew he would be in good hands with Dr. Hough and team.
After receiving a ridiculously high quote from our former vet provider for a dental cleaning, we began a search for something more reasonably priced for our 11 year old dog, Snickers. At the time, we weren't thinking of completely switching vets - just wanted a dental cleaning we could afford. Little did we know that when we brought her to Kestrel for a pre-dental cleaning consultation, we'd immediately fall in love with the whole experience!
