This is a public plea for someone from Kestrel shutters to reach out to me and give me an update on the order I placed four months ago. My customer is gracious and not in a big curry, but I need to know some information. I have called and left voicemails and emails for the last three months with zero response. Please please respond to my emails or voicemails.
I agree with many of the other reviews here - we ordered product last year and have still not received it. We have made numerous attempts to get our product delivered and have been ghosted and gaslit month after month after month. We plan to file to take this the small claims court in Pennsylvania.
I have worked with Jim and Kestrel for the past 2 years on a major shutter project for our historic property in Cape May NJ. The shutters look amazing and the quality is exceptional. Jim was a huge help in helping us determine the appropriate style and size and his knowledge of woodworking is incredible. They have been up on our house for over a year (1/2 block from beach in harsh environment) and still look new. We had an issue where our contractor mis-measured the shutters and Jim corrected them for us recently. Very happy... read more
I placed an order in January and paid 50 percent ($300). It's late April now. I haven't been able to get a reply by email or phone despite sending multiple emails and voice messages. Is this place still in business? If I hear back from Kestrel, I will take down this negative review. Before being ghosted, the service was really great.
I Order a few doors last August with a 50 percent deposit. Doors were expected to ship by Thanksgiving per Jim, but still haven’t received anything. It’s now January and I’m being ghosted without replies to multiple email status requests and unreturned VM phone messages left. This reason for this silence could be explained with a quick text or email. Hope all is well at Kestral Doors and Shutters.
