I recently saw Dr. Kessler for shoulder pain and he has helped me immensely after another doctor told me there was nothing they could do. I highly highly recommend Kessler sports medicine.
I had a torn miniscus in what they call the white-white zone of the medial miniscus. this is the area that has little to no blood supply. Dr. Kessler recommended this partial meniscuotomy where they remove the tear and smooth out the edge (debridement). i did not do any therapy prior but i had this problem for almost a year if not longer. i was hesitant to go forward with surgery without first at least trying therapy but Dr. Kessler did not believe that therapy would help given where the tear was located and the type of tear... read more
