Very rushed. Joint visit with the PA. Dr. Austin Was using Google to look up answers to my questions. Did not seem interested… And then bowed out quickly… to let the PA with just a years experience handle The rest of the visit. Because of a negative workup (No evidence of blood loss in the G.I. tract ) for iron deficiency anemia, The PA referred me to Hematology oncology, which was very helpful And appropriate. Thank you, Jessica!
Kirstin showed empathy and kindness that I never got from the male Gastroenterologist I have had at the UW! It was a breath of fresh air to be listened to, and understood!
Terrible patient communication. Very hard to get in contact with them and when you finally do they will tell you to go to patient portal where you will not be able to find what you need and then when you message them through the portal (their “preferred” method of communication) they just won’t respond.
