This is one of the best facilites in town, everyone in this office is amazing. Great location, great doctor and great office staff..
While this office is comfortable and Dr. Plaisance is very kind, the office staff, Yvette in particular, is not up front about cost and your portion with regards to insurance. My insurance pays 80% for in network. Yvette told me that they would accept payment just like an in network dentist(he is out of network for me). She encouraged me to establish myself and my family as new patients, which we did. After the insurance paid their portion, I was stuck with a bill for 50% if the services. He worked my wife in as a new patient after we evacuated to New Orleans from Florida during Hurricane Ivan on the same day she called with an emergency. Six months ago, after I was in a car accident, he actually came to the hospital to take molds for two teeth I had knocked out so the "temps" would be ready when I was discharged. As a former hospital CEO, I state that both Dr. Plaisance, his facility and his entire staff are as good as you could ever expect and I unhesitatingly recommend them.
My name is Jeanine Breaux. I brought my 12 year old daughter to Dr. Plaisance because our regular dentist suffered alot of damage to his office and is not open yet. She was very comfortable and at ease with him. He was great for her. We appreciated him very much. Thanks Dr. Plaisance
