Women Beware Women beware. I brought along a male friend when I purchased my Toro mower. I was treated with respect, questions all answered & purchase went perfect. I returned twice after the sale to purchase accessories, both times I came in alone the 1st time I ran into a British speaking sales person & was treated like a stupid idiot and dismissed at once when a man came in. Purchased a new Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor from Kerrys. When I picked it up, they had the battery on charge and told me I should charge it when I get it home because the battery was low. After 2 hours of use (less than a week from purchasing), the front tie rod got bent when I hit a hole in the yard. This thing is not well built at all. Kerry's said there was nothing they could do and it would cost $150 for the part and labor to fix it. I had never used their service but i bought a gas stabalizer for the fuel for the winter time and the salesman was most helpful in explaining how to add how much of the stabalizer to the gas. I found another place in carlisle someone who fixes lawnmowers and small engines who is closer to me.
I decided to upgrade and bought a 2008 Cub Cadet GT 1554 Tractor. I took it back at the beginning of the next season because the belt kept coming off- they could not find any issues with it, but charged me $50 to look at the problem and sharpen the blades. When I got it home, I noticed the blades never were sharpened. I called Kerry and he admitted them made a mistake and did not sharpen the blades.
