I cannot say enough to express our appreciation to Dr. Cardwell and his staff at Kerrville Veterinary Clinic for saving our 8 year old German Shepherd. We knew he wasn’t well and called very early on Saturday morning. After describing the symptoms, he had us meet him before the clinic even opened. It was obvious that he let his staff know, because as soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted and immediately taken back. I’ve been going to the Kerrville Vet Clinic since 2001. My dog Littlebit passed today. I appreciate the compassion the doctors have shown for Maggie and my loss.
So grateful for Dr. Cardwell and staff! First, Bella (Standard poodle) ran in front of a car and was run over, Friday evening. Today, Sunday, Macee (Great Pyrenees) lost a fight with a porcupine during the night. Dr. Cardwell was on call for the weekend and quickly met us at the clinic and took great care with both dogs. Bella still has a ways to recovery, but seems to be doing well. No hope for Macee ever learning NOT to tangle with a porcupine!
Dr.Carter and staff are awesome..They were very caring and compassionate when we had to put down our dog. Thank you for your kindness.

brought our dog shadow in on Friday 9/22/2017 with stomach problems .he was bleeding and was pretty sick they left him alone and not cared for over night and due to their not caring he died 9/23/2017. if you need dog food this is the place to go, if you need care for something other than a broken nail find some where else your dog is going to die at Kerrville vet clinic.
The staff are very friendly and caring and they will go out of their way to accommodate you and help in every way. I am on a limited fixed income so can't afford most of my Twyla's care but they help make it possible. Thank you to a truly caring staff.
The ONLY place we use for healthcare and boarding! Staff is amazing, even letting my daughter help with checkups on our dog (she wants to work with animals). Would recommend any time!!
