I’m appalled at how the Resnick family has locked down so much of California’s precious water just to grow water-guzzling crops like almonds. Locals are left dealing with dry wells and constant drought worries, while these billionaires rake in profits off a public resource. The fires' news coverage brought me here! It's shameful what the Resnicks and all involved are doing. This water should be for the public and not for sale, much less used for water intensive, non staple crops like almonds. SMH
These people are crooks. They robbed the people of California of their water and sold it back to them.
