I just want to say that as a new homeowner I didn't get much warning about the $2,000 I needed to pay for supplemental taxes that was divided up into four bills. two of $980 and two of $79 I guess I had a senile moment and overlooked one of the payments for $79 and I didn't get much warning about that either and was slapped with a $50 late fee because I didn't get to my PO Box in time to pick up the late notice why such a high penalty? Mr. Kaufman sent me a threatening letter stating I'd get a lien on my land for not paying the property taxes on time. But I did, and I sent my bank statements to him as proof. No response. I sent a follow-up email. Still no reply. I guess I'm going to get my lawyer involved now.

Knowing that its property tax season i don't understand why they don't open all the clerk windows so the process goes much quicker. I realize that the employees have to take mandated breaks but standing in line for several minutes as a disabled person can be quite tiring only to have them close a window instead of someone taking there place in a timely manner.
