The staff who deal with fitting/ordering glasses and contacts are NEVER in office. There is always an excuse as to why they aren’t there. So when they aren’t there (90% of time) it becomes your problem when you can’t pick up your glasses/contacts etc. The receptionist are too sorry to get up and get them for you so you have to guess when the glasses people will actually be at work to give them to you. The slowest office visits in all of medicine. You will not get in and out in less than 3 hours. Plan on being seen at least 2 hours after your scheduled appointment time.
While the front area staff is friendly and great, I felt that my exam was rushed. I’m not used to a tech performing an exam and not the actual doctor. It’s fine I guess but she seemed like this was the last place she wanted to be and the patients are suffering the consequences. I felt uncomfortable with the rx I was given so I asked for a second appointment. The lenses on the Phoropter needed to be cleaned both times I went. This was the first time I went here and I won’t be back, unfortunately.
