Billing department is an absolute nightmare to say the least. Extremely difficult to work with and very unhelpful. We have caught them in multiple lies. Really not sure how they have been able to get away with this. Looking at other reviews makes it seem like I’m far from being the only one dealing with this.
One star only because I have to. Phone number is not valid. No way to get a paper bill for records. No notice that they are going to be involved at point of service St. Mary's. Incredibly aggressive. Comes across as a scam.
All calls are routed to a call center in India and it is difficult to understand what ANYONE there is saying let alone get an answer as to why they are not providing the medical records requested by the insurance company before they make payment. On my last call THEY HUNG UP when I requested someone to speak to from the U.S.A. My insurance company instructed them to not be sending the bills to me anymore because of their failure to provide accurate information yet they persist! Kent radiology has the literal worst billing practices I’ve ever dealt with. From someone who has to have yearly CT scans for cancer, it becomes rather pricey, even with health insurance. They garnished my wages for a bill I wasn’t even aware of. I just received a bill in the mail this month from a scan done LAST JULY! How is this practical? This place has the WORST billing practices I've ever run across. For over a year now they've sent a debt collection agency after me stating that I owe them money. Originally they tried to bill me twice what I was supposed to pay because they didn't run a bill through my insurance first. So I waited to get a revised bill. I paid the revised bill after checking with my health insurance. Literally the next day after paying, they sent my information to a debt collection agency.
