I had an appointment with Dr. Singal at Kensington Eye Institute after waiting nearly 4 months, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The consultation lasted less than 2 minutes, and my concerns were not properly explained to me. I felt rushed and dismissed. To make matters worse, the doctor opened the door during the appointment and started speaking with another patient, which felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. DO NOT SEE DR MICIELI FOR IIH!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I was referred to Dr. Micieli back in 2024 by my optometrist upon finding optic nerve concerns. The first time I saw him he was dismissive, impatient and rude. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my optic nerve and to go home. After this, my GP ordered me a CT scan just to be safe, which found elevated levels of spinal fluid which they suspected were caused by IIH.
