Staff is always amazing and friendly! Food comes out quick and delicious! You definitely get great tacos for the price. They are absolutely stuffed! Parking is limited but there's always room to eat in. Best if you buy for a group and take out! I get some almost every weekend.
Got the catfish basket, it was dry. Ketchup tasted off, hush puppies were bland. They charged 25 cents a refill but wouldnt take card bc it was under $2. Not going back, not missing out on much.
I haven’t been to Ken’s Tacos in a while. The Austin American-Statesman recently ranked its top 10 tacos, and Ken’s came in at number 10. After this experience, I have to disagree with that ranking. I arrived at 6:15 AM, and there were already several people ordering. I ordered two tacos with potato, sausage, and cheese. The staff member taking my order seemed confused. Been going here for 30 years. Best tacos out there. I challenge you to find a better one.
