Best sushi in town! But it's a little too expensive to go all the time. Especially when there are other good sushi places nearby.
Been to this location 5 times and each visit was awesome! Our family has celebrated wonderful occasions here and each time was complimented by the great experience the staff provided.
I have lived in Japan for almost a year and this is the real stuff... authentic and modern at the same time! Love Sushi!!!!
Normally I prefer Italian/Continental cuisine, a few of my friends invited me here. Pleasant surprise. The meat was just amazing. As an appetizer, the Kobe beef tartar topped with a quail egg is perfection. The salmon fillet steak for is heavenly. The side orders, such as yakitori or roasted root vegetables, are also excellent. Just when you think you can't eat any more, Mikuni offers a range of special desserts, including mochi Ice-Cream makes a chef happy.
I have been a customer of Mikuni's since 1986 in Fair Oaks. I have enjoyed the food however the service has disappointed me for sometime. I feel rushed and not as a paying customer. Sometimes I feel that they have forgot the customer and the price we pay to enojoy sushi.
Great tasting, inventive rolls and a dynamic and fun atmosphere. Everyone eats here - from families to first dates and everyone seems to be having a good time!
