I am writing as a nurse who used to work with Dr. Kenney. I value the perspective of those who work with providers because they get to see a side of providers that is not always shown to patients. I, and many other staff members were extremely disappointed that he left our health system. Kaiser Permanente is fortunate to have such a high quality physician in their ranks. I think Dr Kenney was nice enough but my insurance and I were charged $420.00 for seeing the Dr and another $275.00 was charged for a "facility fee". I will never go see this dr again because of Centura and Dr K charging a facility fee for a routine office visit. When I registered a complaint Centura said there was nothing they could do about it, I said that I disagreed, that they could code an office visit different than an outpatient procedure. They said they would not do anything to correct
Dr. Kenney is awesome! There is nobody better. He is a great listener, pays attn. to all the details and is a great communicator. I would send anyone I know to him. His care is fantastic! He makes your care his highest priority and has a wonderful, caring staff.
Best doctor we have found in the area; he takes the time to be sure you understand your condition and options. We need more like him!
Dr Kenney really listens and explains things in terms that are easy to understand. I didn't feel rushed and felt like he truly cared about me and my health.
We have been to many different specialists to try to get a diagnosis for my wife's problem. Dr. Kenny is by far the best doctor we have seen. He is very knowledgeable, takes time to explain the various issues to us and cares about his patient. He took the time to evaluate my wife's tests and scans before meeting us. Many doctors we have seen walk into the room unprepared, are in a big hurry, and act like we are an inconvenience and they have something better to do. Dr. Kenny is not like that.
We are very pleased with Dr Kenney's treatment for my husband's lymphoma. He is aware of the latest treatments and takes time at appointments to explain everything and answer questions. We would recommend him. What a great doctor!
