His rates are high (to me) and has since started charging for pre-authorizations of medication. $175 for a twenty minute session and he charges $50 per medication for pre-auths. Last time, I only saw him for ten minutes (because that is all I needed and he was trying to fit in another patient). $175 for ten minutes and trying to charge for a pre-auth...unacceptable. The pre-auth was also for a formulary drug he prescribed and was pushing (he had free samples from a pharma rep).
