Dr. Himmel performed a DMEK procedure on my eyes. For 8+ months after my surgery, my eyes would bleed upon lifting things with only moderate weight. I knew this could not be normal; however, upon reporting this to Dr. Himmel, he was unconcerned and said there was nothing that could be done.
