Dr. Macek is patient and empathetic, I’m grateful to be under his care
Dr. Macek is a wonderful doctor who really cares about his patients. I have seen him here and there throughout 3 pregnancies and he is one of my favorites. Dr. Macek called me back on a holiday weekend Saturday when experiencing an issue and apologized for taking “so long”. It was less than 15 minutes. He was just as kind and sincere when I saw him out once at restaurant with our spouses- it shows it’s his genuine self! He has been an excellent resource during pregnancy.
I have been going to Dr. Macek for at least 8 years now and he has been the best doctor I have ever had! Very patient, always explains everything in detail and makes sure you understand, listens to your concerns, and always has a nurse step into the room when doing exams. He makes sure you are comfortable and is extremely courteous. I would highly recommend him to any women any age in need of a sincere knowledgeable gynecologist.
Dr. Macek delivered me through a very complicated early delivery of my baby. His bed side manner is amazing and even in those scary moments he walked me through what was going to happen and put me at ease. Afterward he followed up on me everyday to make sure I was okay. This was my last baby but I will always be grateful for the amazing care I received from him and all the nurses at Northwestern CDH.
