The best gastroenterologist I have ever encountered, and I have been an internist for over 50 years and attorney for 15 years. Now semi-retired.
I did not have a good experience with Dr. Payne. He performed and EGD and was lacking bedside manner that should be expected somewhere like MUSC. He barely spoke to me or my family about the results or the procedure and was just in a huge rush to get me done and out of the way.
