After having the Gastric Sleeve surgery back in 2018, I have lost 220 pounds. I was afraid to have the surgery. Dr Larson was reassuring, informative and gave me the confidence to go through it. His staff is amazing also. They have teachings to understand the surgery and what to expect. I have kept off every pound.

Dr. Larson is one of the best, and most knowledgeable surgeons I have dealt with. After the hospital put me through every test possible (literally) and could not find the cause of my pain, Dr. Larson came in found the problem and fixed it. He also successfully did a gastric sleeve and I am down 200 pounds from my highest weight. I don’t know why he would have a low rate. He is accessible when I need him. this will be my second surgery with dr. larson. if i didn't trust him, i would look for another surgeon.
I was admitted to JFK hospital needing my gallbladder to be removed. I was very close to sepsis because it was infected. I found Dr. Larson very caring, competent, patient and I would absolutely recommend him. I’m two days post OP, so I don’t know how I’ll come out of this, but I’m sure I’ll be OK thanks to Dr. Larson and the staff at JFK.
