I have never in my life been so horrified with the fact that I cant make an appt. The phone service is HORRIBLE!! I wait on hold for over 30 mins. If this wasnt important I would find another dr, however he has already seen me but I may actually have to transfer my info to another dr. I am now on phone waiting again just to make an appt. Also after my last MRI I asked if the Dr can call me back to discuss. I called probably 8 times he got back to me over a month later. I updated because the relocation has improved service. My daughter had an anxiety attack after he first visit with him! No compassion cold dr. Don’t recommend!!
I felt like he didn’t care. I wasn’t taken seriously and I just felt like a number. It’s unfortunate how a dr goes to medical school then when it’s time to help patients just doesn’t care.
Dr. Chao is by far my worst experience with a doctor. I waited over a half hour after my appointment time after being told he was running on time. He was short and did not seem to be the least bit interested in what I was saying. He wrote me a script for an MRI and a script for my headaches. I went to ask him a question and he cut me short and said ask me after yo get the tests. I will NOT be returning to him and someone should give him. Lesson on his bedside matters.
He is very thorough. He listens carefully to my concerns.
Both visits I waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time, only to wait even longer once in the room. Does not listen to patient’s concerns (i.e. told him my medication was no longer working, tells me to try it again). I will be requesting to see a new doctor ASAP.
Wait time is absolutely absurd; both times I have been to see Dr. Chao I waited 30 minutes or more past my scheduled appointment time (both early morning appointments)! Not to mention there is a little bit of a language barrier, which impeded me explaining my situation during my initial appointment.
Very inconsiderate! Never on schedule. I’ve scheduled the 1st appointment and still waited an hour or more. The last appointment I had scheduled, I was his first patient and after waiting well over an hour, I went to the front desk to learn he wasn’t even in yet. No regard for patients.
