Kenko sushi has THE BEST sushi and does not compare to ANY other sushi place we have ever gone to including in Japan! The sushi is excellent and a work of art that is presented beautifully, the service is excellent, the staff is friendly. What sets it apart are the sauces they use, how its presented along with the soup or salad, complimentary roll and dessert that they also include with the meal. Just the best sushi ever.
I have never been disappointed with Kenko Sushi until last night. My boyfriend and I were craving sushi and drove all the way from Dover, NJ in torrential rain. When we arrived the open sign was lit up and a little piece of paper on their door said they were closed. When we asked why they were closed they said nothing but only taking to go orders. This is our favorite sushi place in all of NJ. The staff is always fantastic!!! The food is like eating yummy art!!! And even though sometimes we might have to wait, it’s always worth it!!!! Keep up the good work & see ya soon!!!!
Love this place and people need to understand that that’s why there’s a wait, because they’re AMAZING!! Also, because it’s a small place, but just saw a sign that they’re opening another location, still in Lincoln Park, I believe. My only complaint is that it was SUPER HOT in there the other day and that wasn’t appreciated as we were actually SWEATING!! Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, they’re a 5!
