Been our dr for over ten years. Love dr. Wong!!!
He’s a very nice person , but sort of a minimalist as far as medical care . Not proactive and certainly not aggressive as far as preventative care gos . At times he seems to under treat and under medicate . Perhaps he’s afraid of the insurance companies , who knows . But I suppose if you were at deaths door he would act accordingly .
Dr Wong has been my dr now for 10 years as well as my husband and son. He is very thorough and takes the time to really explain what’s going on with my health and my visit. He is helping me manage my high blood pressure and my weight. Will continue to keep him as my doctor.
I love this doctor best pcp in Odessa as far as I am concerned. However the office staff are more suitable for a Mc Donald's job
He is great Doc & has awesome staff. The only thing I can think of is I would want him to be more proactive. Example. He waits till my hemoglobin is 7% before treatment for Thalassemia should be getting transfusion before it drop danger low. Same with A1C levels.
