It's rare that I leave reviews, but in this case, I feel it is necessary if it can save someone else the hassle of dealing with them. We have taken our tundra in to the service department several times. Each time is more frustrating than the last. They currently have my vehicle and I still can't get anyone to call me back, even though the oil change was scheduled for 7:15am and I am writing this at 2:00pm. Went in for oil change only because car has a tire pressure system check engine light and auto running board issues , inspection found steering fluid needed to be flushed (it actually did need it) the work was approved. Only inspection and oil change performed so have to make another appointment and hope they fix or even look at other issues??? invoice was also mixed with another customers, at least they didn't lose my car for 2 days like on a previous visit!
Very disappointed with my recent experience at Toyota Kendall of Anchorage Service department. First, I scheduled an alternator replacement and was quoted $460 for labor + $540 for the alternator. When I spoke with the parts department, I was told the alternator was $525, which was confusing. My bigger concern was the P268115 coolant bypass valve issue. This place is horrible. Imagine calling in to service a recall and then having their sales team contact you trying to cram a new car down your throat. Now I still have a recall because I refuse to let these people touch my vehicle. Extremely unprofessional, also never consented to phone calls because I called for the appointment and didn't submit online where you have to agree to marketing from them. Shady practices. I purchased my Tundra brand new back in 2018 and had top notch service for about the first 6 yrs especially in the service dept. Over the years I bragged about this place and even brought my family here. My daughter purchased a new Lexus, my brother purchased a new tundra a couple years ago and my wife was bringing her Audi s3 here to get it serviced because Swickard sucks!
