Why bother making an appointment when you end up waiting 4 hours? I’d be less livid if I had just walked in and waiting for my Awd to be fixed. My awd was not fixed, just diagnosed, and the diagnosis makes no sense to me or the new mechanic I found right after my appointment. I only called a new mechanic because something about the diagnosis just didn’t sit right with me. Andrew Metcalf helped me get my tundra serviced and was very helpful. He communicated great and the truck was done same day for a fair price.
Edit: This time I waited 25 minutes to see and just cannot get a hold of anyone in the service department. (And the main store answers right away but transfers to the service dept without answering anything and puts you right back on indefinite hold ). Very annoying at a minimum. Can't even get a quote for an oil change. Been on hold for a total of 45 minutes from 4 different calls (I don't even know if calls are answered in the order they're received because it also says I can press 1 to leave a message but that doesn't wor... read more
Made 60k service appointment a month in advance, with loaner vehicle guarantee and price quote for service $1,600. Called the day before to make sure loaner vehicle was still guaranteed (it was). Woke up early to make the 200 mile drive and be at appointment by 11am. On arrival informed loaner vehicle not available, and I'd have to sit in waiting area for at least 3 hours with my 1 year old in tow. My entire experience owning a Toyota over the past two years has been highly disappointing. The vehicle itself (RAV4) worked fine, but the AWD was not comparable to what I was used to with Subaru, so in my daily winter commute up the mountains I was disappointed. The upcharges from the dealer felt like a huge scam. The highly overpriced “maintenance package” did not include everything needed, and for instance the tire rotation which I didn’t need because studded tires, was wasted money and no credits were able to be applied ... read more
