Purchased a GMC 3500 dually and ended up having to purchase a new 5th wheel hitch that I hadn't planned on based on information I got from the dealer. The dealership listened attentively and understood my situation and reimbursed me for the cost. I am GMC fan and do business in Eugene and Alaska. Was told truck was 5th wheel ready for a standard goose neck hitch and truck has proprietary puck system. Cost an addition 950 to change out hitches. Sales staff should be knowledgeable enough to point this out BEFORE you purchase.
I've been taking my 22' Sierra to this GMC dealer instead of the other ones in the area for about 2 years since it was under warranty still, and I wasnt fond of the others. Recently they transferred me to a new Service Rep for all my repairs, maintenance, ect. as the previous guy I was working with is no longer there. Kevin Grube is the service rep I have now.
