Questioned mid haircut if this person was licensed to cut hair, told her to keep the length on top and to slightly thin out the hair but she decided use thinning sheers all the way down to the scalp. I now have zero volume all around my head, going to buzz cut since she didn’t want to listen to my instructions. Have gotten multiple negative comments about this haircut Don’t go here.
I've had a beard for 5ish years, but never had it professionally trimmed (so it would frizz out too much... when I try to trim it neatly I would often mess up and or trim it too short.). John neatened my beard up great - made it suit my face a lot better!
Warning to anyone in Kendall Square looking for a professional haircut before work, a meeting, or an event. I came in requesting a very simple haircut: a scissor cut with a trim on the back and sides. I clearly explained what I wanted, but the barber seemed intent on using clippers and steering the haircut toward a much shorter buzz-cut style instead of following my instructions. Absolutely amazing experience. John, George, and Ivan were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Ivan gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. You can really tell these guys care about what they do and create such a great atmosphere. I’ll 100% be coming back whenever I’m in Boston and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great haircut!
