My Wife Anne-Marie and I want to thank the staff and residents for the extremely warm welcome we have received during our 3 day Try It visit. This is truly an amazing community and we are very happy that we have been allowed to join the Priority List. We are looking forward to joining the community in 5-ish years and until then, we invite all our new friends to follow us on our Blog after we retire this December and head up the Alaska-Canada Highway through Canada to Alaska and Back. Barkley Friends is NOT a place that I wish to be located! However,with a broken hip it is somewhere that I need to be. The accommodations were okay the food was very good, the service was exceptional , the personnel we're trained and personable, and the overall facility was cean and welcoming. The RNs! LPNs and Ctfd therapists well exceedrd the norm. If -qualitythe beds were a tad bigger and more appropriate this would receive top honors. I would easily recommend this facility to any family or friends.
