RecommendedA serene atmosphere and positive energy permeate Kendal. A wonderful place to spend one’s last decades.
Lovely place. Great residents. However the management is no so great. As the child of a resident, when we do have issues, we get a lot of run-around. Especially be concerned if you're dealing with the nursing staff. Don't get me wrong, most of them are great. The nurse practitioner is not. I called her about an issue with my mom that they can't seem to take care of, and I was lectured by her. She then said to me that my mom is, "probably at the end of her life stage." My Wife Anne-Marie and I want to thank the staff and residents for the extremely warm welcome we have received during our 3 day Try It visit. This is truly an amazing community and we are very happy that we have been allowed to join the Priority List. We are looking forward to joining the community in 5-ish years and until then, we invite all our new friends to follow us on our Blog after we retire this December and head up the Alaska-Canada Highway through Canada to Alaska and Back.
