Ken and Diana Fisher arrived in Corvallis with their five children in July of 1971. Kenny, as we all knew him, worked as a mechanic in Corvallis until he was given the opportunity to establish his own business. On January 4, 1982, Kenny and Diana were able to fulfill their dream of opening the doors to their family owned and family operated auto repair shop, not just for them, but for their children's future as well. Family friendly, Fisher’s excellent crew of professionals went the extra mile to ensure everything on my Ford truck was properly serviced and adjusted. Outstanding!
I would call this a dream mechanic--a brother and sister business (with their father Ken's name) where both siblings are great people, just chatting with them at the shop is a joy. They explain the work very clearly and do it very competently. They are also very accommodating to customer needs. A couple of examples: when my 1986 Toyota pickup needed a new engine, they had to order it and wait for it to arrive. A friend of mine dropped my 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser off at Ken Fischer after hours as they have a convenient key drop-box and as I was out of the country. The vehicle was having starting issues that I narrowed down to either the starter or starter connections. The shop diagnosed it as the starter and called to inform me of the issue and provide a quote.
