They send your prescription directly to pharmacy, you dont actually get to see it. When pharmacy contacts them for renewal, they dont do anything. No response to pharmacy, and dont contact yo to say come in for appointment. When you contact them, they simply say you have to make an appointment. (which is not quick). So you can be without your medications for well over a week. They are good to send you for tests, but not so good on follow up. If this happens again I will report here to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) not just for my family but for the person who has had all the problems and for anyone else not to have the same problem in the future. I have no complaints on Dr. Kamal, however I believe the receptionists are another matter. I had booked a follow up appointment from some test results and while on the phone I added the date/time to my phones calendar for 2:15. When I arrived today I was notified that the appointment was at 1:15pm and that I would need to reschedule for another 2-3 weeks. The doctors were very kind to me at this clinic, I can't say the same about the staff. When I call to inquire about something they are super passive aggressive and honestly straight up rude. Specifically Diana over the phone extremely rude to me when I asked a question and I am someone who does not use this clinic often and am not a regular. I was also super nervous to go here, drive 40 minutes every time for my service and I paid cash every time, I don't need to be treated poorly when asking a question, it's simply wrong. I... read more
What is the point of having a family physician if when you NEED care and attention they don't answer the phone, or return phone calls? I have never experienced such poor service from an office as I have with this one. My partner has a broken rib, a hernia flare up and bronchitis and the receptionist couldn't be bothered to do her job and get him an appointment. Dr. Malek, you need new staff or some serious help as this is NOT the way to treat your patients.
