Our daughter was taken here by ambulance after an accident on highway 416. After 4 hours the doctor in emergency wanted to send her to Ottawa for a CT scan because that department was closed in Kemptville. Seriously, she arrived at 2 p.m. and the doctor knew the department closed at 4 p.m. My daughter had blood all over her face because the car airbag had deployed in the accident. I’ve come here multiple times, staff is always friendly, that being said.. Today, October 31st, I arrived with my son who injured his ankle. 3 people in the waiting room. 3 hours in, not one person has left the exam rooms and no one has been called in the exam rooms. Just unbelievable.
Dr Brisebois is the best ER doc we have ever seen! He listened, explained, and genuinely cared. Fantastic staff from start to finish and they took my husband in immediately when he was having a severe allergic reaction. Thank you to all of the KGH staff!
BEWARE OF THIS HOSPITAL On September 10th, 2025, our 5 year old son sustained a head injury when he fell off a swing and hit his head on a rock. (picture provided) Initially he was screaming in pain there was a large obvious visible indentation on his skull that you could see and feel.
