I am a new patient of Dr. Flood, and I was very nervous going into my appointment. She made me feel seen, heard, and understood. I did not feel rushed, and I appreciated how she involved me and my thoughts in the treatment plan. I could not recommend Dr. Flood and her entire team more highly!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Northwestern Medicine dermatology. I waited about an hour past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. I came in seeking evaluation for a persistent skin issue and specifically wanted diagnostic testing so the cause could be identified rather than continuing trial-and-error treatment. Dr. Flood was knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. What stood out most was how clearly she explained the diagnosis and next steps. The entire team runs like a well-oiled machine—professional, kind, and efficient. I left with peace of mind and a clear plan.
Awful experience. I waited over an hour, and when she finally came in she wouldn’t make eye contact, kept swaying, and seemed distracted. She over-prescribed medication and didn’t tell me to avoid alcohol — I had one sip and had a terrifying reaction. Worst bedside manner I’ve seen.
