I was a patient of Kelsey Kingsborough for about a year and a half. In general, I found the experience of care to be very apathetic. Like most psychatrists, the focus of the visit is on a chemcial solution, and at the start, we worked well in striving toward that goal. However, I recieved a letter of termination of care without any reasoning or reasources to find another doctor, stating that I had 30 days of medication they would order for me before refusing to grant care going forward. Wish I would’ve found her YEARS AGO!!! Her knowledge alone is TOP NOTCH! Having someone to talk to about the hardest things and the most intimate things in your life is so important. Having someone like her who is easy to talk to, understanding, doesn’t judge and GENUINELY cares and wants to help is just unheard of! Kelsey is awesome! She’s a great listener and has always treated me with respect and compassion.
I have been seeing Kelsey for a while now, I have had many doctors in my past. Kelsey tops them all, she keeps it real and she really shows care and concern. I was recently diagnosed with MS and Kelsey worked diligently along with my husband and other doctors to make sure my meds were right and working on my behalf.
*edited review* I've been seeing Kelsey for about 4 or 5 years. We need more people like her in healthcare. She's a genuinely kind & caring person. I always feel comfortable talking with her. & Unlike a lot of other nurses & doctors, it is a conversation with her. I have had doctors who will listen to me talk & then tell me what they are going to do & that's it. Whether I agree or am comfortable with it or not.
