Genuinely lovely staff for the most part they made the process really easy but the billing department needs to learn grade 1 maths because how they can mess up so many times is beyond me, they take payments for the wrong invoices and don’t know how much was paid, they send scam looking text messages and don’t reply to emails leaving you in the dark about the process
I came to the ER tonight (Aug 18 2026) after being advised by a nurse on 811 that I should seek care as soon as possible. The triage nurse, Ashley (working around 11pm), was extremely rude and dismissive. Her tone and choice of words were unprofessional and unkind. After triage, I was moved to Zone A, where the next nurse who screened me was kind, attentive, and asked appropriate questions. Unfortunately, I did not get his name. Wonderful hospital, starting with the ER and intake nurses. I’ve dealt with trauma Drs, the drs and nurses on 4South Paediatrics, maternity/delivery drs and nurses and those on mother & baby unit. I can’t praise them enough honestly. My husband and I moved here 10 years ago from southern Ontario (Toronto and Durham Region) and we have been to many hospitals there and dealt with many drs there and I don’t have many positive things to say other than Sick Kids and Mt Sinai are good hospitals though it depends on who you get, re... read more
I gotta say every single staff person I interacted with was incredibly kind. I’m from Saskatchewan just here for school and so I was completely lost until a male nurse helped me out and guided me to where I needed to go and was very kind. The doctors and nurses afterwards were also all incredibly nice (not just to me but all patients that I witnessed) so much so that I’m taking time to write a review lol. Wait times were okay not as bad as I thought they would be
