I had a recent stay on 3 West at Kelowna General Hospital, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the nurses were. Every single one of the girls was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They took the time to check in, explain things clearly, and made me feel comfortable during a stressful time. Had sinus surgery and when they intubated they damaged my uvula and it started turning white I called to ask what to do about it and they told.me that they could not give me any advice over the phone and that if I wanted an answer I had to come down there and sit in emergency what a waste of everyone's time and they wonder why wait times are so long I was also told after my surgery by my nurse that if I had any issues to call the hospital and they would help which they refused
I went in earlier this morning for a gastroscopy. From the clerk(s) checking me in, to the nursing staff it was painless!
