Specialties Kelly's Cellar is an Irish influenced bistro-pub serving familiar comfortable dishes with a slight elevated flair produced by our very talented young Executive Chef out of our "scratch" kitchen. Wouldnt go here for dinner. Went in at 730-8pm tonight (a Thursday) When we walked in nobody was in there to greet us. We stood around a sufficient amount of time for someone to notice us and nobody did so we sat ourselves. When we did sit, still nobody noticed us, and mind you there were only about 3 or 4 other parties that I noticed seated, everyone else at the bar. Amazingly great food, also a great place, and good atmosphere :) definitely recommend.
Really enjoy the music and dance floor! However, it takes very long for a bartender to take an order. Went on a Saturday night and I felt like I spent half my night just waiting to be served. Maybe understaffed? Was also extremely crowded (which is a good thing) but was sweltering. Not sure if shutting the Windows and turning up AC would have helped at all. I'd give it another shot, but the waiting part for a drink is really awful.
Excellent vibe and atmosphere, superbly renovated, Great bar, Good food, very Good service, plenty of Irish symbols, posters and memorabilia though with this equally American feel, thoroughly spacious, a bit grimy (which adds to the overall appeal), and this generally fine and ideal ambience, all of which leaves this wonderful and lasting impression.
