Sharon lakes has been my go to for over a decade. Last few visits seemed off service and price wise. Last visit, a follow up to wellness visit for labs and vaccines, they made me to write down the name of prescription med my 2 dogs needed and told me to go find it. They were full service at ringing up $245 on my debit card though. Caused me to come here and check recent reviews. Another victim of private equity acquisition I see.
Filter the reviews by newest. This isn’t Sharon lakes. It’s under new ownership. While the staff is very nice, all the existing vets and most of the staff left. In my two times here since new ownership, I had expensive lab work done to rule out disease to which I never received a call back and most recently went for a 3 year rabies vaccine which they did not have in stock. Updated: I previously gave these veterinarians a 5 star review and continued going there until my last visit there about 6 months ago. New corporation bought them and all of the in house vets left. You can rarely get anyone on the phone, they only have "fill in" vets from other facilities they own. It's terrible. I would never go to them again. I am going to take my cats to the new practice of one of their previous vets who was wonderful.
I showed up at 7:30am when they are supposed to open and no one was there. The vet showed up in the parking lot around 7:45am and I asked if he worked there and I told him the doors were locked and no one was answering. As an emergency care place they should be open at the time their hours are listed online and posted on their door.
