Patient for 6 years and had my daughter with this practice. Through my many visits I would say the care is ok until recently. I changed insurance co's and need a prior auth to get the both control I use. The office told me they had a 'no prior auth rule' and could make an exception with Dr. Van Gilder's ok. Well she won't do it, didn't even look at my chart, and I am now unable to get the pill I need because she won't sign her name. Patient care???

Dr. Vangilder is the best gynecologist I've ever had. She's thorough, gentle, and compassionate.
I originally had an appointment 3 weeks ago. Got there only to realize I didn't have my license with me. Nope, they wouldn't take me. Not even with a digital copy of it. It was rescheduled for today. I am so glad I decided to keep the appointment! Dr. Vangilder had reviewed all of my online paperwork before she ever saw me. How do I know? She walked in and said 'I have questions!' I just moved to the area and found Dr. VanGilder. She is warm, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She spends a lot of time with you and is very detail oriented. She was able to perform a procedure in her office and saved me a lot of time, money and aggravation. I was impressed with the entire staff. I have already recommended her to my new neighbors.
Gave me several options to help with my condition and referred me to other doctors to help me in the process of finding an accurate diagnosis and treatment. No longer does surgery though so keep that in mind if you are needing that in the future.
Loved, loved, loved her. Very down to earth. Took time to listen to my issues. Very knowledgable. Disappointed that she couldn't take care of my primary care needs ie. cholesterol but understandable since she is Gyn doctor. Definitely will be going back and have already recommended her to some of my friends. Also her front desk and nurses were very nice and efficient. Always a big plus.
Wonderful doctor! Both my daughter and I have used her for several years now and love her!
I've always been impressed with the doctors at this location - this visit was no exception. I'd never met Dr. Van Gilder before, but was truly impressed with the way she took the time to discuss my issues, treated me with respect, and never rushed or dismissed me.
