Yesterday I made a post in a local mom group about not being able to find an eye doctor that would see my son due to his severe disabilities and not having the proper equipment to see him. I called OVER 30 eye doctors yesterday and we were turned away from all of them but this one. He is nonverbal, has SIB, CP, autism, brain damage, and birth injuries. I was looking for the best eye doctor in Park Ridge, and I found her! After having lasik eye surgery 12 years ago, I started having some trouble reading. Also, I have family history of glaucoma and blood pressure issues. Dr. Cohen was fantastic! Her exam was beyond thorough and she answered all my questions in layman's terms that I could easily understand. Her knowledge and client care is top notch, and I recommend Dr. Cohen at Park Ridge Vision without hesitation!
Dr. Kelly is incredibly thorough, un-rushed and transparent. I’ve struggled with my vision for years with no explanation. Dr. Kelly found an anomaly within my right eye in my first visit and was able to start me on the path to correction. She’s obviously passionate about what she does, I couldn’t recommend her more.
Kelly Cohen is especially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of many pediatric eye disorders such as Strabismus, Pediatric Retinopaphy and Amblyopia. She takes the time to educate parents and helps to reverse many of these developmental disorders. Kelly will give you peace of mind and hope for the future for kids and your family.
