I just wanted to give a big thank you to Dr. Averill. She Was the on call Neurologist in 2022 when my daughter was five months old in the hospital with a brain injury. She didn’t hesitate to take her in As her patient. She’s four years old now And Still seeing Doctor Averill. I was so heartbroken finding out that she is no longer returning. Thank you Dr averill for everything

We called to make an appointment with Dr Kelly averill, MD and come to find out she may or may not be back to office. It’s hard has is to find great doctors and then they up and leave there practice. Retiring/leaving but in the end most doctors are doing this now. Weeks later we now got the official email that she is leaving the practice. Now more work for the parents to find a new doctor and hope for the best.
Absolutely horrible. She doesn't listen to the patient or parents concerns, literally told us she was there to write scripts nothing else . Exactly 10 months later my son had a major medical episode where he couldn't walk , speech slearing, vision impaired and non eplic seizures. Was at the ER and she was the on call Neurologist without even seeing my son she told the ER Dr it was a Non emergency and send him home and call for a appointment. Took my son to University and he was admitted for over a month had to have PT, OT an... read more
Dr Averill has been a complete blessing to us. We moved to Del Rio & right away I was able to get my son seen. She absolutely cares and loves my son. She’s so patient with him. He loves to come see her. The nurse that works with her is also very kind!
