I had an appointment to see a 2017 blue, automatic **** *** *** ***** tonight at 7:00 at Kelly Nissan of Lynnfield (MA). I confirmed by both email and phone this morning and Brianna D***** confirmed again this afternoon. When I called to tell them I was a few minutes late they informed me that the car was white, not blue as advertised on their website. We will correct the listing today. It was not posted as an automatic intentionally. I have also seen your Yelp and Autotrader review and we certainly apologize. The car is blue as listed but clearly the transmission is a manual. We will have that listed on line with the correct transmission. There was an appointment for the client "****" to answer why there was a reservation tag in the car.
My purchase of a used ****** ******** that Kelly Nissan has hurt me financially. The Car they sold me I gave to my wife. She drove it from January to September when the transmission went on it. When I looked into why this was happening I learned that the vehicle had been in a class action lawsuit for an Oil Consumtion issue. This made the whole vehicle history problematic and I could not put money into this vehicle for a new transmission. We have no control over any class action suits that may be out there. We are responsible for the duration of a used car warranty and we do honor the terms of that warranty. Months after it expires we have are unable to extend that responsibility as you were offered an extension of that warranty at the point of sale and declined. If you wish to trade the automobile for another we would work with you. It is unfortunate that you have experienced a problem and I will suggest trading the car and we can help with that.
In NOv 2017, my college aged daughter took her 2004 ****** to Kelly Nissan for an inspection sticker. The mechanic noted that the power steering pump & hoses were loose and need repair costing $1151.12. Please note the POWER STEERING PUmp was replaced in 2014 by a local mechanic. I took the ****** back to my local mechanice who shared that the RADIATOR was falling out. Kelly Nissan made no mention of this. We took the car to **** ***** who fixed the falling radiator. My mechanic today said the Power Steering clamp was loose ... read more
