I am not sure why there are poor reviews here. Dr KASH is amazing. She listens, understands concerns and is so kind. As someone who had had a long history of abnormal paps, one reviewer seems disappointed she was only asked to come back in 6 months, that is regular practice, particularly your first abnormal pap. So please don't take that as Dr KASH not doing what should be done. Probably the worst experience I have had. You cannot speak to any office staff on the phone. Your only option is to leave a message and hope they get back to you in a timely manner. I did not feel my concerns were addressed properly, and when I had questions about my treatment plan, I felt like an inconvenience. Rather than the doctor call me back, I got a curt reply from the nurse. Fortunately I sought a second opinion, and turned out I had cancer. Dr Kash was recommended by my daughter’s pediatrician. My daughter (14) has been have terrible heavy periods and was starting to feel completely hopeless. She was diagnosed with endometriosis Dr Kash spent at least an hour on her first appointment and told her all her options in a very knowledgeable and professional but friendly manner. I am chuckling at some of these negative reviews - you don't need labs because of a history of kidney stones and a pap in 6 months after an abnormal is actually appropriate! I am a healthcare provider myself and have been seeing Dr. Kash for years. She is an outstanding gynecologist, spends plenty of time discussing my care, and I would highly recommend her to anyone (anyone who is sane that is... patients with unrealistic expectations need not apply)....
Not happy with Dr Kash at all, I don't believe she has enough knowledge or experience in the OBGYN field. Anyone with a complication should look further to find the right doctor!
NOT a good first exam experience. VERY cursory exam. Didn’t even give me an internal exam. PAP & quickest breast exam ever! Very impersonal.
Not sure why anyone would ever give Dr.KASH less than 5 stars . She is amazing and her staff is awesome . Everyone is so personal and treats their patients really well.
I found Dr Shedd on-line looking for a second opinion for pelvic prolapse surgery. The first gynecologist I saw for my problem had me so anxious I put off the surgery for a year. The first doctor said I would have to try and stay off my feet for six weeks and scared me when when explaining the procedure. Dr. Shed had the best bedside manner and spent 45 minutes with me, putting me at ease. The surgery was easier than a dental appointment and six months later I couldn't be any more pleased!
She didn't even have me do any blood work. Despite a history of kidney stones. I got an abnormal pap and her office told they can retest in 6 months ???? What? This is not a proper way to handle an abnormal pap smear. I was searching for a new doctor after mine retired so needless to say . . . . back to searching.
