“I put down a $5,000 earnest money deposit on a house in Ecorse with Keller Williams Realty Somerset. The contract clearly stated that if the bank did not approve the loan, the deposit should be refunded. The bank denied the loan due to income, but the office refused to return my deposit. The house itself was in very bad condition, with basement cracks and mold. Now the matter is in court. Terrible experience – be very cautious.”
