Our experience with Anthony Macon was disappointing and, in several ways, misleading. Key property details—such as the true lot boundaries and significant tree and vegetation overgrowth—were not disclosed before we signed. We were also pressured to use his preferred lenders, despite clearly requesting not to be contacted. One of their agents recently came through my business and left us a poor review, as a real estate agent I would hope that they would be more understanding if there’s an issue and that we were unable to solve it despite explaining our policy. I received an unsolicited text—using my name—from one of their agents, Jackson Mertes. He claimed to have the perfect buyer for my home in Wayzata and asked to schedule an appointment to see if it might be a fit. Since I had been considering selling, I agreed.
