I put in a request through Zillow to tour a house I was very interested in, and a Keller Williams agent, Sophia Martinez, reached out to me. Unfortunately, the interaction was very unprofessional. When I explained that I could only text because I was at work, she responded in a very passive-aggressive tone. This complaint is directed at Keller Williams Realty – McKinney, TX office, where agent Kelly Calkins operated and where this transaction was managed. On Aug 15, I went under contract on a property listed by Kelly Calkins. I assigned the deal to a buyer (New Western) who wired earnest money on Wed morning (Aug 20), which is standard in my business due to religious/family observance on weekends. If you're thinking of doing business with Keller Williams McKinney or agent Kelly Calkins, I strongly urge you to check their BBB profile first. They’re not even BBB accredited after 27+ years in business, and they hold less than a 2-star rating. That speaks volumes. And now, they’re finally getting exposed.
