Several times I’ve gone in to the family healthcare and associates and because I have no insurance I had to self-pay. First time didn’t even get examined. Just ordered a bunch of blood tests to run up my bill This last time seemed like I was going to get some help. I was prescribed steroids, which I couldn’t take because of severe side effects I told them I could take a steroid shot because it didn’t seem to affect me the way the pills do, but they said they don’t do steroid shots and that I would have to go to an allergist.... read more
I called to schedule an appt and the receptionist asked whether I had a PPO or HMO, I have never been asked this in all the years I've had insurance, and was not on my card. I said I wasn't sure, and I would call back after we made appts, I asked do you take both, she said yes, I said ok when we get off the phone I would call and get the info. Dr. ASHRAFIAN is the best doctor I’ve ever known, and he has a great bedside manner. He is head and shoulders above every other doctor in my past. However, his staff screamed at me, overtalked me, and generally did not care. I called this office one day, and I was placed on hold for 15-45 minutes then the line would cut me off. I followed the doc’s instructions on requesting refills for my BIPOLAR medication, but as usual the communication got lost or whatever. Now I’m in Europe and the Balkans for 3 weeks WITH NO MEDICATION... read more
dr ashradfian is the best doc but front desk staff of that office is the absolute worse!! never call back. keep you on hold. don't take accountability for anything and just don't care!
