The children in Matilda were outstanding! Great show
Great show last night. . .Matilda. The Keller never disappoints, not a bad seat in the house.
I have been going there ever since it was built. Was, very convenient as I worked just up the street for many years. The acoustics is wonderful. I did not enjoy the performance. Could not understand any of the words. To me it appeared that the childern were yelling into the mics. Same for the adults. Took me a while to understand the story. I was a guest of a subscriber to the series. There were 4 of us and all had a great difficult in understanding the words. Feel bad about making this negative review.
I was so looking forward to seeing "Matilda" as my son saw it in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. We attended the matinee performance yesterday. The cast & music was amazing, however, we could barely hear the lyrics or the performer's speaking. I read the same complaints from others. We had good seats on the floor but we missed so much of an amazing play. I would give the play five stars, but Keller only two.
Keller Auditorium has a 4.6 star rating with 5,384 reviews.
Keller Auditorium is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
