We have been taking our dogs to Keller Animal Clinic since Dr. Roudon, who was an honest, caring vet who we greatly trusted. After Dr. Meyerdirk took over the clinic, we continued taking our dogs there. We trust Dr. Meyerdirk and we know our pets have the best care they can get with him. The new addition to the clinic, Dr. Rochell, has an amazing calm demeanor and it is obvious that he truly loves animals. The vet I saw was rude, condensending and unempathetic. She just assumed I could pay for any service she could conjure up. $145.00 bloodwork. $75.00 xrays. They just assume you can afford to pay all this stuff without even asking you. I had to literally stop them from taking my dog for the xray because I wanted to know how much. My visit would have been over $400.00 had I let them do everything "they" wanted to do. My dog has an infection, we're not doing an organ transplant here. OVER priced and UNDER welming service. If you are looking for rude, condescending, and generally looking to spend way too much money - then come here. They don't ask you about services before they just assume you can pay for anything that tickles their fancy. Blood work was over $140.00. Also wanted to xray him, give fluids, and a zillion other things. Had I not stopped them would have spent more on vet bills then I did on the dog. Keller Animal Clinic Love Keller Animal Clinic! Dr. Steve is awesome and staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Steve repaired our dogs leg after he tore his ACL. Only problem is now he acts like nothing ever happened! chasing squirrels as usual! Love you guys!!!!
Customer I was very pleased with the new Doctor who is Dr. Steve Meyerdirk. Very nice man. Toni is still there and doing well. My pet was treated with the utmost of respect and professionalism as was I. I feel very comfortable with this veterinarian and his staff and am pleased they are here.
Pet owner It is very difficult to find a veterinarian you can trust. I feel as though I found one at keller Animal Clinic. They are so nice and friendly and felt like Jack (my golden retriever) was being treated very well. Even the price was reasonable. You can't find that every day. I will recommend them to my friends as well.
Just fine Efficiently run office - the doctor is very upfront, honest and down to earth. I felt like our dog was treated well here. I have heard from others that the doctor is judgmental. I did not notice this personally, but I can see how people would think this. I suggest that if you don't want the doctor's opinion, you probably shouldn't ask.
